Knowledge Of Railroad Signal Systems: A Signal Maintainer At Union Pacific Railroad Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Railroad Signal Systems, Including The Principles Of Operation, Maintenance, And Troubleshooting.
Electrical And Mechanical Skills: The Job Requires Strong Skills In Both Electrical And Mechanical Systems, As Signal Maintainers Are Responsible For Maintaining And Repairing Various Equipment, Such As Track Circuits, Switch Machines, And Signal Lights.
