- Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs
- Oversee the movement of goods and materials through our rail network, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize supply chain processes
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement
- Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing to ensure the best value for the company
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in logistics and transportation to inform decision-making
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, proactively addressing any issues that may arise
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to supply chain management
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on supply chain operations and performance.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Supply Chain Management, Preferably In The Transportation Or Railroad Industry.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Strong Knowledge Of Supply Chain Principles, Including Procurement, Inventory Management, And Logistics.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
Familiarity With Industry Regulations And Compliance Requirements Related To Supply Chain Operations.
