  1. Manage and oversee all aspects of the supply chain operations for Union Pacific Railroad.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  3. Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely execution of supply chain processes.
  5. Negotiate contracts and build relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to supply chain management.
  7. Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals to achieve departmental and company goals.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and other departments within the company.
  9. Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain operations.

  12. Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding delivery timelines and maintaining a high level of product quality.
  13. Manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  14. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to develop and manage supply chain budgets and forecasts.
  15. Uphold the company's values and code of ethics in all supply chain operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Departments.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain Management, Preferably In The Transportation Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Transportation Operations, Including Rail, Trucking, And Intermodal.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills With The Ability To Identify And Implement Process Improvements.
