Job Description

We are currently seeking a hardworking and dedicated Track Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a Track Maintenance Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and smooth operation of our railway tracks. This is a physically demanding position that requires individuals who are willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.   1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on railway tracks, including replacing worn or damaged components and maintaining proper track alignment.
  2. Inspect tracks for any signs of damage, wear, or potential safety hazards and report findings to supervisors.
  3. Operate specialized track maintenance equipment, such as track tampers and ballast regulators, to maintain track stability and smoothness.
  4. Follow all safety procedures and protocols while working on or near railway tracks.
  5. Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  6. Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and repair reports.
  7. Monitor and maintain proper levels of track ballast and other materials used in track maintenance.
  8. Assist in emergency track repairs and respond quickly to any track-related incidents.
  9. Keep work area clean and organized, including proper storage and maintenance of tools and equipment.
  10. Continuously learn and stay updated on new track maintenance techniques and equipment.

Job Qualifications
