Experience With Railroad Operations And Dispatching: This Includes Knowledge Of Train Schedules, Track Layouts, And Signaling Systems.
Strong Communication Skills: Train Dispatchers Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Train Crews, Other Dispatchers, And Various Departments Within The Railroad.
Ability To Multitask And Make Quick Decisions: Train Dispatching Is A Fast-Paced Job That Requires The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Make Split-Second Decisions In Order To Ensure The Safe And Efficient Movement Of Trains.
