Job Description

As a Training Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively and safely.   1. Develop and implement training programs for new and existing employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively and safely.
  2. Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and create a comprehensive training plan.
  3. Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees on various topics such as safety procedures, equipment operation, and company policies.
  4. Create training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources, to support the training programs.
  5. Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve their impact.
  6. Manage the training budget and ensure all training activities are within the allocated budget.
  7. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in training and development to continuously improve the training programs.
  8. Maintain accurate records of employee training and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  9. Communicate with employees and managers to gather feedback and address any concerns or issues related to training.
  10. Collaborate with external training providers to source and deliver specialized training programs as needed.
  11. Stay updated on new equipment, technology, and procedures to incorporate them into the training programs.
  12. Ensure that all training activities align with the company's mission, values, and goals.
  13. Monitor and enforce safety protocols during training sessions to ensure the well-being of all participants.
  14. Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientation and training on company policies and procedures.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the training process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Human Resources, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Training Coordination, Preferably In The Transportation Or Railroad Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Training And Development Principles, Methods, And Techniques.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Present Information And Facilitate Training Sessions.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Priorities, With A Strong Attention To Detail And Organizational Skills.
