Job Description

The United States Department of Commerce is currently looking for an experienced Electronics Technician to join our team. As the Electronics Technician, you'll be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electronic systems and equipment. You should be self-motivated and have an eye for detail, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of electronics and the ability to work with complex systems. In addition, you should have a strong commitment to customer service and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilties:

  1. Install, repair, and maintain electronic systems and equipment.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and electronic components.
  3. Perform preventative maintenance on electronic systems and equipment.
  4. Follow safety guidelines and regulations when operating electronic systems and equipment.
  5. Monitor and adjust system performance as needed.
  6. Provide customer service and support.
  7. Work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest electronic technology and trends.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documents.
