Job Description

We are looking for a professional and motivated Lodging Manager to join our team at the United States Department of Defense. As a Lodging Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing operations related to lodging services for military personnel and their families. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, be detail-oriented and have a passion for providing exceptional service. If you have the qualifications outlined below and are ready to take on this exciting challenge, we look forward to hearing from you!Required Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field* At least two years of management experience in a hospitality environment* Knowledge of hotel management and operations* Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure* Excellent organizational and communication skills* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities of a Lodging Manager:

  1. Develop and implement lodging service policies and procedures to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
  2. Monitor lodging operations and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  3. Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of lodging staff.
  4. Ensure that all safety regulations are being followed and address any safety issues that arise.
  5. Manage and track lodging expenses and revenue.
  6. Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
  8. Develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy and revenue.
  9. Monitor staff performance and provide regular feedback.
  10. Prepare reports and documents related to lodging operations.
