Job Description

  1. Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
  2. Lead a team of equal opportunity specialists in enforcing and ensuring compliance with equal opportunity laws and regulations.
  3. Conduct thorough investigations into complaints of discrimination and harassment.
  4. Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to equal opportunity and diversity.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and agencies to promote diversity and equal opportunity initiatives.
  6. Stay current on all relevant equal opportunity laws and regulations and provide guidance and training to staff.
  7. Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on diversity and equal opportunity principles.
  8. Monitor and analyze workforce data to identify any patterns of discrimination or barriers to diversity and inclusion.
  9. Advise and consult with senior leadership on matters related to equal opportunity and diversity.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders to foster a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  11. Prepare and present reports on equal opportunity and diversity initiatives to senior leadership.
  12. Provide guidance and support to employees and applicants who have experienced discrimination or harassment.
  13. Ensure that all recruiting, hiring, and promotion processes are fair and equitable.
  14. Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion within the organization.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by senior leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Human Resources, Public Administration, Or Social Sciences.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Equal Opportunity Or Civil Rights Compliance Work.

  • Knowledge Of Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Equal Opportunity, Including Title Vi, Title Vii, And Section 504.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Conduct Trainings And Investigations.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Supervising And Managing A Team, Including Overseeing Work Assignments And Performance Evaluations.
