
Acquisition Analyst
The United States Department of Labor is looking for an experienced Acquisition Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Department's acquisition process, from vendor selection to contract negotiation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of government acquisition regulations and processes, as well as the ability to effectively manage multiple projects.We are looking for a candidate who is highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other government regulations, as well as an ability to effectively communicate with vendors and stakeholders. Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience in contract negotiation, cost analysis, and budget management. A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is required.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the Department's acquisition process, from vendor selection to contract negotiation.
- Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations and other government regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and analyze costs.
- Monitor and manage budget allocations.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
- Research and interpret relevant laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure process efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records.
