- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, utilizing knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
- Coordinate with other maintenance and production teams to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure the proper functioning of electrical systems and identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
- Coordinate with outside contractors when necessary to complete larger maintenance projects.

- Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians as needed.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For An Electrical Maintenance Technician At United States Steel Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Demonstrates Basic Knowledge And Understanding Of Fundamental Concepts And Principles.
Technical Degree Or Certification: Many Electrical Maintenance Technician Positions At United States Steel Require A Technical Degree Or Certification In Electrical Maintenance Or A Related Field. This Demonstrates A Deeper Understanding Of Electrical Systems And Equipment.
