  1. Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to perform various tasks including grading, trenching, and hauling materials.
  2. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on all heavy equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  3. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
  4. Keep detailed records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
  5. Ensure all equipment is in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to plan and prioritize work tasks.
  7. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to report progress and identify potential issues.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  9. Follow all University and departmental policies and procedures.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures for equipment maintenance and operation.
  11. Assist with other tasks and projects as needed.
  12. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  13. Attend training and development programs as required.
  14. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
  15. Represent the University of Arkansas in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Operating And Maintaining Heavy Equipment, Preferably In A Construction Or Industrial Setting.

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Required, With Additional Technical Training Or Certification In Heavy Equipment Operation And Repair Preferred.

  • Proficiency In Troubleshooting And Diagnosing Mechanical Issues With Heavy Equipment, As Well As Performing Routine Maintenance And Repairs.

  • Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Manuals And Diagrams, As Well As Use Computerized Diagnostic Equipment.

  • Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
