  1. Develop and implement communication strategies: The Communications & Program Manager will be responsible for creating effective communication plans and strategies that align with the university's goals and objectives.

  3. Foster relationships with key stakeholders: The Communications & Program Manager will be expected to establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, alumni, and external partners.
  4. Write and edit communication materials: This position will require excellent writing skills to create compelling and accurate communication materials such as press releases, newsletters, website content, and social media posts.
  5. Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams: The Communications & Program Manager will work closely with other departments and teams within the university to ensure cohesive messaging and effective communication.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices: It is essential for this role to stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in higher education communication to ensure the university remains competitive.
  7. Manage budgets and resources: The individual in this role will be responsible for managing budgets and resources related to communication and programs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  8. Conduct research and analysis: The Communications & Program Manager will be expected to conduct research and analysis to inform communication strategies and program development.
  9. Track and measure the success of communication efforts: This position will involve monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of communication strategies and making necessary adjustments to achieve desired outcomes.
  10. Represent the university at events and conferences: The individual in this role may be required to represent the university at events and conferences related to higher education, promoting the university's mission and achievements.
  11. Train and mentor team members: The Communications & Program Manager may be responsible for training and mentoring team members, including interns, to ensure a high standard of work and professional growth.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Communications And Program Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Or Nonprofit Setting.

  • Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Various Stakeholders Including Faculty, Staff, Students, And Community Members.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Developing And Implementing Strategic Communication Plans, Including Experience With Marketing, Media Relations, And Digital Communications.

  • Knowledge Of Project Management Principles And Experience In Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously, Including Budget Management And Team Coordination.
