- Develop and implement overall human resources strategies and policies in alignment with the University's mission, values, and goals.
- Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure a high-performing and collaborative team.
- Oversee all aspects of the employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and address current and future human resources needs and challenges.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations related to employment, diversity, and inclusion.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with faculty, staff, and student leaders to promote a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Create and implement initiatives and programs to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of human resources.
- Develop and manage the HR budget, including forecasting and allocating resources for various HR initiatives and programs.
- Serve as a resource and advisor to managers and employees on HR-related matters, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Utilize data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
- Collaborate with campus partners, such as the Office of Equity and Inclusion, to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to diversity and inclusion efforts.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in human resources and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Represent the University at relevant conferences, events, and meetings related to human resources.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the HR team and across the University.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information and HR-related matters.
A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Human Resources Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
A Master's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Federal And State Employment Laws, Regulations, And Policies.
Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Strategic Hr Initiatives, Such As Diversity And Inclusion Programs And Talent Management Strategies.
Excellent Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With All Levels Of Staff, Faculty, And External Stakeholders.
