Job Description

The University of California, Riverside (UCR) is seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Assistant Men's Soccer Coach to join our Athletics Department. This is an incredible opportunity for a motivated individual to help foster a successful and competitive soccer program. The successful candidate must have the ability to inspire and motivate student-athletes, while demonstrating a commitment to excellence in the classroom and on the field. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, as well as a passion for soccer and teaching. They must also possess strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and the desire to help student-athletes achieve their highest potential. We are looking for an individual who is eager to help build a successful soccer program and contribute to the overall success of UCR Athletics.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and develop student-athletes according to NCAA rules and regulations
  • Plan and lead practices and workouts to ensure student-athletes reach their full potential
  • Strategize game plans for upcoming matches and adjust accordingly
  • Monitor student-athlete academic progress to ensure NCAA eligibility standards are met
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with players, staff, and university community
  • Foster and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in the classroom and on the field
  • Work collaboratively with the Head Coach and other staff members to ensure the success of the soccer program
  • Follow and abide by all NCAA rules and regulations
