
Technical Writer & Documentation Specialist
At the University of California, Riverside (UCR) we are looking for a talented Technical Writer & Documentation Specialist to join our team. We are looking for a detail-oriented self-starter who is capable of working independently, as well as collaboratively within a team.The Technical Writer & Documentation Specialist will be responsible for writing and updating a variety of technical documents, including user guides, manuals, and help documents. Responsibilities:
- Write and update a variety of technical documents, such as user guides, manuals, and help documents.
- Ensure accuracy and precision of all documents.
- Analyze complex technical concepts and communicate them in a clear and concise manner.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the software and systems used at UCR.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that technical documents are up to date and accurate.
- Research industry trends and best practices in technical writing and documentations.
- Manage and organize documents to ensure they are easily accessible.
- Generate ideas for new documents and projects.
- Assist with training and support of users on technical documentation.
- Participate in the development of new processes and procedures to improve the efficiency of technical documentations.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills

Bachelor's Degree In English
