Job Description

The University of California, Riverside is looking for a professional and highly motivated Work Station Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate should be a problem solver, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. To be successful in this role, you must have experience in computer and network support, be an expert in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and possess strong customer service skills. You will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, as well as at least two years of experience in a similar role. Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and highly motivated IT support to staff and faculty at the University of California, Riverside
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Assist with installation and configuration of computer systems and networks
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to faculty and staff
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Respond to inquiries from faculty and staff in a timely manner
  • Document all technical support actions and resolutions
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relations
  • Ensure compliance with all IT policies and procedures
