
Federal Government Relations Analyst
The University of California, San Diego is seeking an experienced Federal Government Relations Analyst to join our dynamic and collaborative team. This role will be responsible for advancing UC San Diego’s federal policy agenda and cultivating relationships with federal government officials. The successful candidate will possess a deep knowledge of the legislative and regulatory processes at the federal level, strong writing and communication skills, and a passion for advocating on behalf of UC San Diego. Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Government Relations, or a related field• At least three years of experience in government relations, policy analysis, or related field• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills• Superior interpersonal skills• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail• Knowledge of the legislative and regulatory process at the federal level• Ability to travel as needed
