Job Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic Lab Assistant to join the University of California, San Diego team! This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized and passionate about supporting the research efforts of our scientists and faculty.As a Lab Assistant, you will be instrumental in providing support to the research laboratory, as well as performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and stay organized while working in a fast-paced environment.To be successful in this role, you must have the following qualifications: a Bachelor's degree in a science-related field, at least two years of experience working in a laboratory setting, and knowledge of laboratory safety procedures. Proficiency with computers and other laboratory equipment is also required.
