Job Description

The University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Weather Data Manager/Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, organizing, and analyzing weather data in order to provide accurate and timely forecasts to our university community. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications that support our weather systems, as well as creating and updating technical documents and user manuals.We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about working with weather data and software engineering, and who has a strong background in both areas. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, and at least two years of experience working with weather data and software applications. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills, are also essential for this role.
