Epic Nursing Informatics Specialist
The University of Mississippi Medical Center is seeking an experienced Epic Nursing Informatics Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for utilizing technology to improve the delivery of healthcare. The Epic Nursing Informatics Specialist will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and utilizing the Epic electronic health record system to improve patient care and workflow.The successful candidate will have the ability to provide guidance and support to nursing staff on the use of the Epic system. The Epic Nursing Informatics Specialist will have a strong understanding of nursing, clinical, and healthcare processes, and will be highly knowledgeable of the nursing informatics and healthcare technology industry.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Nursing Informatics, Information Systems, Health Information Management, or a related field; Epic certification in at least one nursing module; experience in a nursing informatics role; experience in Epic build activities; and experience in managing projects. The candidate must also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.If you have the qualifications and experience to excel in this position, we welcome your application.
