Job Description

The University of Mississippi Medical Center is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Milk Lab Technician to join our team. In this role, you will use your analytical and laboratory skills to perform a wide range of tests on milk and dairy products. We are looking for a team player who is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing outstanding patient care. To be successful in this role, you must possess a degree in medical technology or a related field and have prior experience in a laboratory setting. If you are highly organized, have excellent communication skills, and have a commitment to providing quality lab results, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities for a Milk Lab Technician:

-Conduct laboratory tests on milk and dairy products according to established protocols and standards

-Record, analyze, and interpret test results -Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory tests and results -Perform quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results -Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies in a clean and organized manner -Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols -Collaborate with other lab personnel to ensure timely completion of tests -Provide support to research projects and other laboratory activities -Communicate clearly and effectively with other lab personnel and supervisors regarding test results and other relevant information -Stay abreast of new developments in the field of medical technology and laboratory sciences
