- Conduct laboratory experiments and procedures under the guidance of the principal investigator and senior research staff.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functioning and availability for ongoing experiments.
- Collect, record, and analyze data from experiments using various techniques and software programs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during experiments.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to ensure the accuracy and integrity of research results.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures and results.
- Participate in laboratory meetings and discussions to contribute new ideas and insights.
- Assist in the training and supervision of junior laboratory technicians and students.
- Stay current with advances in laboratory techniques and equipment, and make recommendations for their implementation in ongoing research projects.
- Collaborate with other research teams and departments to share resources and knowledge.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members, researchers, and other staff to ensure smooth operation of the laboratory.
- Present research findings at departmental meetings and conferences.
- Comply with all relevant ethical and safety guidelines and regulations.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth within the field of biology.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working In A Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Research Or Academic Environment.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field, Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Biochemistry.
Proficiency In A Variety Of Laboratory Techniques, Including Dna/Rna Isolation, Pcr, Gel Electrophoresis, And Microscopy.
Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Tasks Effectively.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Team And Communicate Research Findings Clearly And Accurately.
