- Maintain and troubleshoot the university's technological infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
- Lead and supervise a team of technology support specialists, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to a diverse community of students, faculty, and staff.
- Develop and implement training programs for new technology systems and updates to ensure efficient and effective use by all users.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in the field to continuously improve the university's technological capabilities.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs and requirements.
- Manage and prioritize support requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions, and provide regular reports on support activities.
- Identify and implement strategies to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the technology support team.
- Adhere to university policies and procedures, as well as industry best practices, regarding technology support and security.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Technical Support, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Demonstrated Proficiency In Troubleshooting And Resolving Complex Technical Issues.
Experience Managing And Maintaining A Variety Of Hardware And Software Systems, Including Networks, Servers, And Applications.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Support Faculty, Staff, And Students In Using Technology.
