Certification From The National Board Of Certification And Recertification For Nurse Anesthetists (Nbcrna): Crnas At University Of Rochester Must Be Certified By The Nbcrna. This Certification Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Met The Rigorous Standards Set By The Organization And Is Qualified To Provide Safe And Effective Anesthesia Care.
Minimum Of Two Years Of Acute Care Experience: University Of Rochester Requires A Minimum Of Two Years Of Acute Care Nursing Experience For Crnas. This Experience Provides The Candidate With A Strong Foundation In Nursing Practice And Patient Care, Which Is Essential For The Role Of A Nurse Anesthetist.
