
Pharmacist, Inpatient - Distribution

- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and fellow staff members.
- Accurately and efficiently dispense medications to inpatients following established protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate medication therapy and patient safety.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient medication profiles and records.
- Monitor patient medication regimens for potential drug interactions, contraindications, and appropriateness.
- Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
- Educate patients and caregivers on medication administration and storage.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of current pharmacy practices, laws, and regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medication safety programs.
- Keep accurate inventory of medications and supplies, and assist with ordering and stocking as needed.
- Train and supervise pharmacy technicians and other support staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with all members of the healthcare team.
- Take initiative to identify and resolve medication-related problems.
- Be available for on-call and weekend shifts as needed.

Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution
Active State Pharmacist License
