
Facility and Event Operations Staff

- Oversee the setup and breakdown of campus events, including coordinating with event organizers to ensure all necessary materials and equipment are available and properly utilized.
- Maintain a clean and organized campus environment by regularly inspecting and cleaning event spaces and facilities.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests and visitors, including addressing any inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with various departments and teams to plan and execute events, ensuring all logistical details are properly coordinated.
- Monitor and manage event budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring all costs are within budget guidelines.
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events, working closely with campus security and emergency services as needed.
- Train and supervise event staff, ensuring all team members are knowledgeable and proficient in their duties.
- Maintain accurate records of event attendance, equipment usage, and any other relevant data.
- Continuously assess and improve event and facility operations processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date on university policies and procedures related to events and facilities, ensuring compliance at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Sports Management, Facility Management, Event Management, Or A Related Field.
Previous Experience Working In Facility And Event Operations, Preferably In A University Or Large-Scale Event Setting.
Strong Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Various Departments And Stakeholders.
Knowledge Of Facility And Event Management Software, Such As Ems Or Event Master, And Proficiency In Microsoft Office.
Ability To Work Flexible Hours, Including Evenings And Weekends, To Support Events And Facility Operations.
