
Strategic Sourcing Category Manager
We are looking for an experienced Strategic Sourcing Category Manager to join the University of Southern California (USC) team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing and category management, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, organized, and results-oriented.The Strategic Sourcing Category Manager will be responsible for leading the strategic sourcing process for USC, including the development of category strategies, supplier research and selection, and negotiation of contracts. The successful candidate will be a creative thinker who has the ability to think strategically to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field, as well as at least 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management. They should have strong analytical skills and be able to effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in working with executive level stakeholders and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
