Job Description

Manage overall day-to-day student Learning Space operations. Update and process time cards and payroll for all student lab assistants. Scheduling staffing and maintaining labs safety documentations. Providing tier 2 and tier 3 support. Oversee the daily coordination and functioning of learning spaces, IT Services and Partnerships. Collecting labs usage data, Supporting labs events (Career fairs, Training etc.), e. Training other departmental lab managers and Technology staff, f. Testing / troubleshooting new technology. Perform preventative maintenance for OIT Lab printers when necessary. Diagnosis printer/plotter issues and order parts when necessary. Maintaining records of services and lab usage for assessment and planning.

Job Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in support of PC and Mac hardware, software, and latest up-to-date OS.

  • Work experience in supporting learning spaces and managing mid to large group of student workers.

  • Prior experience supporting Printers / plotters / scanners, and network connection issues.

  • Knowledge of systems security procedures and protocol
