Job Description

The Curriculum and Instruction Manager will support the development and production of high-quality college and career readiness instructional resources and materials developed and differentiated for middle school educators, students and families across diverse Texas educational, cultural, and economic landscape. Write modular lessons and curricular materials that will effectively translate across the multiple implementation models used in schools and districts in a diverse Texas educational landscape. In partnership with Texas Education Agency Beyond Grad and internal Texas OnCourse teams, collect and analyze feedback from current GEAR UP partner districts and additional pilot districts regarding the rigor, relevance and impact of all curricular design components.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience writing curriculum for K-12.

  • Experience writing college/career curriculum for middle school students preferred

  • Proven experience taking ownership from project concept to completion.

  • Minimum of three years providing direct instruction and/or counseling to students in grades 6-12 in college and career readiness and success on a regular basis.
