Job Description

Contribute to the development of communication, event and marketing tactics to drive alumni affinity and engagement. Draft dynamic copy for email, print, web and social channels to support alumni engagement initiatives and fundraising campaigns. Contribute to the creation and refinement of collateral materials and reports. Create and distribute email communications through the School's bulk email system. Develop and execute a social engagement strategy and serve as community manager for the Wisconsin Business Alumni LinkedIn group. Assist with content planning, editorial writing and review, and other related production duties for Update magazine and donor reports. Conduct interviews and draft materials to support communications and donor stewardship. Collaborate with campus partners.

Job Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of writing experience preferred

  • Editing and editorial planning experience is a plus

  • Experience in non-profit or higher education setting preferred

  • Experience with advancement editorial writing and copywriting for events and promotion
