  1. Design and develop innovative and effective learning solutions for students and faculty at the University of Wyoming.
  2. Utilize expertise in instructional design to enhance the learning experience for students.
  3. Develop and implement training programs for faculty to improve their teaching skills and utilize new instructional technologies.
  4. Collaborate with faculty and other instructional designers to create engaging and interactive course materials.
  5. Conduct needs assessments and identify opportunities for improvement in current instructional design and training practices.
  6. Stay up-to-date with current trends and advancements in instructional design and training in higher education.
  7. Serve as a resource and provide support to faculty in utilizing instructional technologies and pedagogical strategies.
  8. Use creative problem-solving skills to address challenges and improve the overall learning experience.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with faculty, staff, and students to understand their needs and incorporate their feedback into instructional design and training.
  10. Participate in professional development opportunities and share knowledge and best practices with the team.
  11. Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of instructional design and training initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation of instructional design and training projects.
  13. Adhere to all University policies and procedures related to instructional design and training.
  14. Represent the University of Wyoming and its values in a professional and positive manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Instructional Design, Education, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Instructional Design And Training, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Learning Theories And Instructional Design Principles.

  • Experience In Developing And Delivering Both In-Person And Online Training Programs.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Faculty, Staff, And Students From Diverse Backgrounds.
