- Greet and welcome visitors to the University of Wyoming's HR office in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and courteous manner, providing accurate information and directing inquiries to the appropriate person.
- Assist with the organization and maintenance of employment records, including applications, resumes, and other relevant documents.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews for job candidates, ensuring that all necessary materials and information are provided to both candidates and hiring managers.
- Process new hire paperwork, including background checks and employment eligibility verification forms.
- Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, providing them with necessary information and resources to ensure a smooth transition into their new roles.
- Collaborate with HR team members to update and maintain job postings on the university's website and other job search platforms.
- Conduct basic clerical tasks, such as filing, scanning, and data entry, to support the HR team's daily operations.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all concerns are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion, following all relevant laws and regulations.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures within the HR department, making suggestions and implementing changes as needed.
- Represent the university in a positive and professional manner, serving as a brand ambassador to potential job candidates and employees.
- Adhere to all university and HR department policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned by HR supervisory staff.
Strong Organizational Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Organizational Skills To Manage And Maintain Various Hr Employment Records, Schedules, And Appointments Efficiently.
Familiarity With Hr Policies And Procedures: A Work-Study Hr Employment Office Aide Should Have A Good Understanding Of The University's Hr Policies And Procedures To Assist With Employee Onboarding, Payroll, And Benefits Processes.
