
Associate Vice President of Collegiate Development
The Associate Vice President of Collegiate Development at Utah State University (USU) will play a key role in the University's fundraising and alumni engagement efforts. The successful candidate must be an experienced and strategic leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Associate Vice President will need to think innovatively and strategically to create a comprehensive collegiate development program that will inspire alumni engagement and philanthropic support from our alumni and friends. We seek an individual with an unwavering commitment to excellence and a deep understanding of the importance of philanthropy and alumni engagement. The successful candidate should have a record of success in fundraising, alumni relations and/or development in a university setting, preferably at an institution of higher education. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and be highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks. The Associate Vice President must be an active listener, have strong interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate with a diverse group of stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least seven years of progressively responsible experience in a university philanthropy or alumni relations setting. A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred. Demonstrated success in managing a comprehensive, successful program of alumni engagement and philanthropy is a must.
