As the Chief of Police of Utah State University, you will be responsible for leading the Utah State University police department and ensuring the safety of the campus. You will be a visible and active leader in the community and will serve as a role model for the department in all aspects. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a vision and passion to ensure the safety of our students, faculty, staff, and visitors.You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in law enforcement, preferably at a higher education institution, with a proven track record of success in law enforcement and public safety operations. You must possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills and be able to form positive relationships with the campus community. A Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field is preferred. A valid Utah driver's license and ability to pass a background check are required.
