
Engineering Technician (Utility Mapping)
Utah State University is seeking an experienced and motivated Engineering Technician (Utility Mapping) to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and prioritize competing deadlines. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions. The Engineering Technician (Utility Mapping) is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and mapping data for utility planning projects. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as civil engineering, surveying, or geomatics, and at least two years of experience in the field of utility mapping. Candidates should also be familiar with GIS systems, AutoCAD, and other software used to analyze and create utility mapping. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and exceptional organizational skills.
