Job Description

At Utah State University, we are looking for an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Officer to manage our Field Safety program. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about safety and has a strong commitment to protecting our campus environment. This position requires a collaborative and proactive approach to managing safety initiatives in the field.The ideal candidate should possess a degree in safety or a related field, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management, with experience in field safety. They should also have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and students. They should be well-versed in applicable standards and regulations, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Additionally, they should be capable of managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines. We are seeking an individual who is committed to creating a safe and healthy campus environment, and who is driven to ensure that safety standards are consistently met. Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Health & Safety

  • Or Related Field

  • Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Occupational Health & Safety Technologist (Ohst) Credential

  • At Least Three () Years Of Progressively Responsible Experience In Occupational Safety & Health
