Pyramid Model External Coach

Utah State University is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Pyramid Model External Coach to join our team and help create a positive, collaborative learning environment. We believe that this position is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on our students and the larger University community.The External Coach will be responsible for providing training and technical assistance to University-affiliated programs in the Pyramid Model, a research-based framework for teaching, supporting, and promoting social and emotional development in young children. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in the Pyramid Model, a strong understanding of early childhood education, and the ability to develop meaningful relationships with University personnel. Required Qualifications: • Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field • Experience with the Pyramid Model • Knowledge of early childhood education • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with people from diverse backgrounds • Ability to observe, analyze, and reflect on classroom dynamics• Strong written and verbal communication skills • Knowledge of instructional design and facilitation • Flexibility and initiative in problem solving • Commitment to professional development • Ability to travel throughout Utah We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional who is committed to supporting the development of young children and helping our University reach its goals.
