Job Description

Vanderbilt University is seeking an experienced and creative Curator to oversee our University's expansive collection of art and artifacts. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual who is passionate about preserving and interpreting our collection, and is committed to providing the highest level of service to our students, faculty, and visitors.The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Art History or a related field, as well as a minimum of five years of experience in a museum or related curatorial setting. They will have a deep knowledge of art history and museum practices, and will bring with them a creative approach to developing exhibitions and educational programming for all ages. Additionally, the successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
