State Policy Analyst

Vanderbilt University is looking for an experienced and innovative State Policy Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our public policy team, you will be responsible for researching and analyzing state policy, developing policy recommendations, and presenting information to stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement initiatives that will advance our mission to build a better future for our students and our communities. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in public policy, political science, government, or a closely related field. In addition, you must have a minimum of two years of experience working in public policy, legislative affairs, or government relations. Previous experience with state-level government is preferred. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A commitment to advancing equity and social justice is also a must.
