Fund Accountant

Vanguard is looking for an experienced Fund Accountant to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and motivated professional with a passion for finance and accounting. The Fund Accountant will be responsible for maintaining records and accounts of our clients’ investments, as well as ensuring accuracy and providing timely information.To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in accounting or finance, as well as at least five years of experience in fund accounting with a financial institution or accounting firm. You must also be detail-oriented, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities of a Fund Accountant:

1. Maintain accurate records and accounts of clients’ investments.
2. Ensure accuracy and provide timely information to clients.
3. Prepare financial statements and reports as needed.

5. Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
6. Monitor and assess compliance with regulations and policies.
7. Monitor the performance of investments.
8. Research and identify new investment opportunities.
9. Provide advice and support to investors.
10. Coordinate with various departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
