Vanguard is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Investments, the successful candidate will be a confident professional with excellent analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate should have a passion for the financial markets and be comfortable with working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.To be successful in this role, Investment Analysts must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as finance, accounting, or economics, with at least two years' experience in a similar role. Experience in portfolio management is preferred but not essential. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable with working with large datasets and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a driven mindset are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial and investment data to identify trends and identify opportunities for growth.
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess investment performance and risk.
- Monitor financial markets and provide timely updates to the Head of Investments.
- Assist in the development of portfolio strategies and recommend investments.
- Prepare detailed investment reports for the Head of Investments and other senior management.
- Keep up to date with industry developments and trends.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Establish relationships with current and prospective investors.
- Provide support to the Head of Investments in any additional tasks as required.
