Process Engineer

Vesuvius is looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join our team and to help optimize our systems and processes. We are looking for a professional who is eager to learn and to take on new challenges. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline, with 5+ years of experience in process engineering. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.The Process Engineer will be responsible for the design and optimization of our processes and systems. They will collaborate with our engineering team to ensure our systems are performing optimally and efficiently. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, while demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

1. Design and optimize processes and systems in order to maximize efficiency.
2. Collaborate with engineering team to ensure all systems are performing optimally.
3. Analyze process data and identify areas of improvement.
4. Develop and implement new processes and systems in order to improve production.
5. Prepare technical reports and presentations.
6. Monitor performance of processes and systems and recommend changes as necessary.
7. Ensure safety and environmental regulations are followed.
8. Remain current with new technologies and best practices in process engineering.
9. Train and mentor junior engineers.
10. Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues.
