  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive continuous care clinical training program for VITAS Healthcare, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Collaborate with the education department and other relevant stakeholders to identify training needs and develop relevant content to address those needs.
  3. Coordinate and facilitate training sessions for new and existing staff, including nurses and other healthcare professionals, to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide quality care to patients.
  4. Serve as a subject matter expert on continuous care clinical training, staying up-to-date with best practices and new developments in the field to continually improve the training program.
  5. Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of the training program and make necessary improvements.
  6. Identify and implement innovative training techniques and technologies to enhance the learning experience and engagement of trainees.
  7. Provide ongoing support and mentorship to trainees, ensuring their understanding and application of training concepts.
  8. Collaborate with the human resources department to identify and address any performance or training gaps among staff.
  9. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization by promoting the importance of ongoing education and training.
  10. Represent VITAS Healthcare at industry conferences and events, showcasing the organization's commitment to clinical training and excellence in patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Healthcare Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Hospice Or Palliative Care.

  • Knowledge Of Clinical Training And Education Principles And Practices.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills.

  • Certified Hospice And Palliative Nurse (Chpn) Or Willingness To Obtain Certification Within First Year Of Employment.
