- Develop and implement training programs for clinical staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality end-of-life care.
- Collaborate with other members of the training team to create a comprehensive, effective training curriculum.
- Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in end-of-life care to ensure training materials are current and relevant.
- Work with clinical leaders to identify training needs and develop targeted training plans.
- Communicate with staff and management to ensure training needs are met and address any concerns or issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of training activities and employee progress.
- Serve as a resource for clinical staff, providing guidance and support on training-related matters.
- Continuously assess and improve training methods to enhance the learning experience for staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure training aligns with overall organizational goals and initiatives.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and ensure staff compliance with training requirements.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current in the field of end-of-life care and training techniques.
- Represent VITAS Healthcare in a professional and compassionate manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For A Coordinator Continuous Care Clinical Training Position At Vitas Healthcare. This Education Provides A Strong Foundation Of Knowledge And Skills Related To Healthcare And Patient Care.
Previous Experience In Hospice Care: Candidates For This Role Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Hospice Care Setting. This Experience Will Ensure That The Coordinator Is Familiar With The Unique Challenges And Needs Of Hospice Patients And Their Families.
Strong Clinical Skills: A Coordinator Continuous Care Clinical Training Must Possess Strong Clinical Skills To Effectively Train And Support Clinical Staff. This Includes Knowledge Of Patient Care Procedures, Documentation, And Regulatory Requirements.
