- Monitor and maintain the security and stability of Vodafone's network infrastructure, specifically the data center environment.
- Implement and manage security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential risks.
- Develop and maintain procedures for disaster recovery and business continuity in case of network malfunctions or cyber attacks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new solutions and services for customers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IP networking and security, making recommendations for improvements to Vodafone's infrastructure.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to junior team members.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support in case of emergencies.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, to provide updates on network and security issues.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Network Security, Data Center Operations, And/Or Ip Engineering.
Certification In Network Security, Such As Cissp Or Ccnp Security.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Network Protocols, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, And Other Security Technologies.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Network And Security Issues.
