Implement and maintain packaging methods for parts requiring the use of Emballage products. Develop Emballage methods for engineering new parts release and for parts from new vendors. Work with Volvo Logistics Services and supplier as necessary to coordinate Emballage implementation (Nii cases). Support Emballage change request for existing parts, whether the request is internal or from vendor. Analyze existing usepoint storage capabilities with an objective towards uniformity and improved space utilization through packaging change. Coordinate with Material Planning, buyers and vendors setting up Emballage packaging quantity with appropriate EOQ. Support LMS requests related to start cost project deliverables by providing early project input in regards to project parts packaging. Support SRM requests during investigations related to supplier performance and discrepancies associated with packaging non-conformances.
