Our bakery department at Vons is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Cake Decorator to join our team! You'll be responsible for creating beautiful custom cakes and other desserts for special occasions. We're looking for someone with great attention to detail and an eye for design, as well as a passion for baking. The ideal candidate will have experience in decorating cakes and other desserts, and be willing to learn and grow with our team. Responsibilities:

1. Decorate cakes and other desserts according to customer specifications and design requests.
2. Utilize a variety of cake decorating techniques including fondant, icing, marzipan, and modeling chocolate.
3. Create unique and creative designs for customers.
4. Ensure cakes are prepared and decorated in a timely manner.
5. Maintain a clean work space and adhere to all food safety regulations.
6. Monitor inventory of baking supplies and ingredients and order additional items as needed.
7. Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with customers.
8. Keep up to date with latest cake decorating trends and techniques.
9. Assist with other tasks in the bakery as needed.
