Freight Handler

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Freight Handler to join our Walmart team. The Freight Handler is responsible for managing the shipping and receiving of large merchandise and materials to ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent organizational skills and an eye for detail. If you have previous experience working in a warehouse and are comfortable lifting and carrying heavy items, we’d like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

-Receive and inspect incoming freight to ensure it is in good condition

-Load and unload large merchandise and materials from trucks and other transport vehicles

-Organize and store items in the warehouse according to the established guidelines

-Prepare and label shipments for outbound freight

-Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments

-Monitor and order inventory when necessary

-Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures

-Assist with other warehouse operations as needed
