Completion Of An Accredited Pharmacy Technician Program: Candidates For This Job Must Have Completed A Formal Training Program From An Accredited Institution, Such As A Community College Or Vocational School.
State Certification: A Valid State Certification As A Pharmacy Technician Is Required For This Role. This Ensures That The Candidate Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Work In A Pharmacy Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Pharmacy Laws And Regulations: Pharmacy Technicians Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of All Laws And Regulations Related To Dispensing Medication, Including Controlled Substances.
Excellent Customer Service Skills: As Pharmacy Technicians Often Interact Directly With Customers, Excellent Customer Service Skills Are A Must. This Includes The Ability To Communicate Effectively And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients.
